This is the eponymous debut album by experimental electronic producer Gross Motor. A collection of 10 varied and densely programmed tracks; dance music-influenced, but operating within a looser, more abstract framework: non-standard or shifting time signatures, uneven loops and randomly generated, mostly non-danceable rhythms.

The approach to production is purposefully rough and ready, direct and lo-fi (rudimentary stock drums sounds and synth patches are pushed through heavy distortion) but this is counterbalanced by complex programming and intricately edited drum patterns. Tracks alternate between relatively simple loops and dense, quasi-improvisatory polyrhythmic layering.
